RESTORING BIAFRA WITHOUT ATTACKING THE STATE: A REFINED METHOD

Biafrans do not know that we are still under Nigeria and her draconian laws until we are independent.  Our consciousness is Biafra, no doubt,  but we are still tied to the apron strings of Nigeria pending when we shall break free.  Consequently, we must obey the laws of the land while exercising part of it (our right to self determinism).  We cannot operate as outlaws and expect Nigeria to respect our right.  One of the ways we can prove to the world and the oppressive Nigeria that we are law-abiding is by guarding against making statements that are capable of exciting the State.  We can prove to the world that we are indeed too refined to be caged in Nigeria by acting right.

I think we should proscribe every act that has the proclivity of making us look violent in speech and deed. I propose a non-violent mode of agitating for that which is our right.  It is time to eschew hate speeches of all kinds.  You can attack the system Nigeria operates without necessarily excoriating the individuals therein.  You can deprecate government without necessarily naming a governor. It is not out of place for one to tell a governor that what he did is wrong,  but that can be done without any form of disrespect.  I used to be harsh and brash towards the State,  but that has got to stop,  if I am desirous of extricating myself from Nigeria's demonic grip.  What we are against is the system, not the persons.  The people we see in Nigeria are possessed by the dehumanising system.  When we picket them,  they fight back because every man has the right to protect his integrity.

Dear Biafrans,  we can minimise the violent response from Nigeria by focusing on the deteriorating economy, debased and backward political system,  history of pogrom/genocide meted out to the Igbo and non-Igbo speaking parts of Biafra since the 40s,  and the sectorial executive and legislative administration.  These are serious issues we can attack without persons. These are the real issues we can present to the world and get their inclined nod.  Nigerians are not the issue: Nigeria is.  Nigeria houses Nigerians and we all know that a corrupt head affects every other part.  Nigeria has a very faulty origin,  for she was created without the knowledge of the British Crown.  She is a product of one-minute pleasure derived by Lord Fredrick Lugard from his Sweetie, Flora Shaw.  Nigeria is, for want of a better description, an ORGASMIC PRODUCT.

Corruption, they say,  trickles down from the head to other parts.  Nigerians will never operate outside corruption.  They were born into it; they live and grow in it. When Prof. Niyi Osundare wrote his poem,  HERE, NOTHING WORKS,  he had this in mind.  Nigerians are bound to fail to deliver anything good in Nigeria until the foundation is revisited. We are not Nigerians because IT TAKES NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS TO MAKE A PEOPLE NATIONALS.  We,  Biafrans,  have a national consciousness that is at par with Nigeria.  It is our job to tell Nigerians that we do not feel that sense of belonging. In doing so,  however, we must be decorus. We must be civil and law-abiding. We cannot opt out by attacking persons. When we attack persons, we start a war.  Let us attack structure and you will see that the administrators cannot respond.  We can relate with/to Nigerians, but not to the structure that excludes us.

Nigeria was wired to exclude us, politically and economically.  Professor Smith Livingstone and I had a session with the handler of Justice Binta Nyako's account on facebook.  The engagement turned sour when the issue we raised were pushed aside and our persons became the objects of unwarranted attack.  That is what happens when you attack the structure.  It unsettles them, no doubt,  but they eventually stomach the truth and let you be.  Nigerians are not the problem. Nigeria is the enemy we must subdue.  We did not partake in the creation of Nigeria. We just found ourselves in her.  Some will claim that some of our elites participated, but we always ask them who gave them such mandate.  Those that represent a people must derive such power of representation from them.

Faulty amalgamation,  neo-colonial independence, and Armed Forces Ruling Council document called Nigerian Constitution are the real reasons why we will never fare well in this fortress.  A State that supports the wanton killing of lawful protesters is too stuffy for anything that breathes.  We have no problems with those who wish to keep us glued to the oppressive enclave. We can see you "love" us so much,  even though such "love" did not transmit to our welfare in the Nigeria project.  Thanks for your enigmatic "love".  We love you back,  but we love our people and nation more.  We shall feign ignorance of the real reason they claim we are loved.  Of course, sugar ants cannot survive without sugar.  We are the sugar. They are the ants. The Yoruba people said they will leave if the Igbo are allowed to leave.  When did we and the Yoruba become such lovers? Well,  whether they leave or stay is not our concern,  is it? That conditional clause itself tells that the West are the real people we should avoid.  They have a way of putting us in fetters. That is a very dangerous condition. I read it and told myself that the West are even more dangerous than the North. Of course, we have not forgot what Chief Obafemi Awolowo did to Biafrans in his bid to look relevant to Yakubu Gowon.  Fear the West!

Let us face the system and leave the people. Our destiny is in God's Hand. I have stopped worrying about the UN and other international organisations.  The UN has affinity with Islam,  and that makes them less responsive to our complaints. Has Donald Trump of the US not made it clear that the UN is docile and Islamised?  We must work together to escape.  You can see why I decided to broker peace between/among the various groups fighting for Biafra restoration.  We must stop attacking persons and do everything possible to harmonise and resolve our differences. We must endeavour to see each group as partner, not enemy.  What we all need is freedom from oppression and genocide.  We have died enough, my dear brothers and sisters.  We have been cheated for too long whilst being sapped dry. It is time to use the right language and method that will engender freedom.  I will continue to bridge the gap that exists amongst us.  We need to work as different wings with the same goal.  The goal is Biafra.  The Almighty God in heaven will help us all.  Please, stop attacking persons.  It is time to be strategic.  Good morning to you all wherever you are.  I love and cherish you all.  May God help us as we help ourselves.  Amen.
