Brexit and the Unanswered Biafra Question It is no more news that the United Kingdom, has finally exited the European Union after all....
It is no more news that the United Kingdom, has finally exited the European Union after all. This took place on Friday 31st January 2020 through the instrumentality of BREXIT Document with the British Prime Minister, Mr. Boris Johnson, promising fellow citizens of a new dawn from the shackles of over forty years of political bondage with the European Union bloc.
It is therefore important to clearly bring to the notice of the international community at this point, that the British government has totally lost the argument via this singular development, on the much mouthed argument on the indivisibility of Nigeria. If the citizens of the United Kingdom have overwhelmingly registered their need of getting out from a presumably peaceful political entity like the European Union, it then becomes just an issue of simple moral justice/fairness that the global community expects the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to place a demand for their exit from the relentless blood sucking, forced Islamic contraption like Nigeria
If the government of the United Kingdom should respect the will of the people of Britain by facilitating their exit from the European Union via the outcome of a popular referendum, it is then obviously indefensible for the government of the United Kingdom to be craftily suppressing the interest of the good people of Biafra. It is grossly unjustifiable to be insisting that Biafrans should remain part of one indivisible Nigeria even at the risk of their lives, values and dignity as a people. The world is obviously aware of their uncompromising will to call it quits with the unworkable and ravenous one Nigeria.
As the United Kingdom out of the overwhelming desire of the people, has finally exited the European Union, time is now ripe for the governments of the United States of America, France, Germany, the Jewish State of Israel, etc to prevail on the British government with the clear message that Biafra is due to leave the Nigerian contraption, the political and economic interests of British nation, nonetheless.
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC), should wade into this matter now and equally demand that Britain allows Biafra referendum to be conducted as a means of allowing the people to decide and pointedly tell the world which divide between a sovereign Biafra or federated Nigeria they wish to rightly belong. If the British citizens can freely make their choice via a referendum, the people of Biafra in the West African sub-region forcefully encaged in Nigeria, should equally be freely allowed to make their own choice of citizenship through the same process.
For the global community to support the independence of Biafra, it is important to very emphatically state here that the British government has totally lost the argument concerning the so-called indivisibility of Nigeria, the very day Britain exited the European Union. The United Nations, European Union, African Union and the world most powerful nations, should at this point, think beyond their bilateral, trilateral and multilateral pacts/treaties with the United Kingdom and courageously place a demand that Britain allows Biafrans the right to freely decide their political future as a people.
The international community it must be stated here, could be adjudged culpable in the evils being meted out on Biafrans courtesy of the British economic interest, if it fails to expedite action aimed at helping the suffering citizens of Biafra out of the fistic control of the Nigerian Islamic government being serviced by Britain. But should the necessary steps aimed at liberating the people be taken, the world will of course, become exonerated from the complicity of the British crime against humanity inhabiting this evil enclave called Nigeria, within the West African sub-region.
